Concept
The key principles that guide the Nilai Campus Master Plan 2019 are aimed at creating a campus environment with a sense of belonging for its students, staff, industry players and community members.
INTI International University Nilai will be a place that all campus users wish to celebrate and actively engage with.
Process
As part of the masterplan process KIRK undertook and led a multidisciplinary team to undertake the following predesign services:
• Existing Building Conditions Audit
• BIM Model LOD 200 of existing Buildings
• Space Utilisation and Timetabling Analysis
• Highest and Best Use Analysis of Land Holdings
These informed key recommendations for the next stages of redevelopment and Master Plan which establishes a framework for present and future development of IU campus to support the academic mission and strategic vision of INTI’s Academic Priorities 2019 and University Strategic Plan 2019.
This analysis also provided clarity for project brief principles and guidelines for campus development catalyst projects to be undertaken now.
