KIRK's Alice St Pedestrian Bridge featured in Courier Mail

The key thing with this bridge is the entire 2.5km stretch of the Eastern edge of the CBD is currently inaccessible across the river. Whereas, the Western edge currently has 4 connections - soon to be 5 if they build Bonner.

The bridge contributes to an environment that increases the viability of the full range of sustainable travel choices in the CBD. The double curve aligns the Alice-Edward Street intersection with Thornton Street, Kangaroo Point, and creates an elegant gesture across the river.
